Our story
Splendid Apt Finder was founded in 2017 by a small group of real estate professionals who noticed a gap in the Gatineau rental market. While there were plenty of agencies handling sales, very few specialised in helping tenants find truly premium residences. We set out to change that by building a service entirely focused on luxury apartment seekers — people who value quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and neighbourhoods that enhance their daily lives.
In our early days, we worked from a modest office near the Jacques-Cartier Park, personally visiting every apartment before adding it to our portfolio. That hands-on approach quickly earned us a reputation for honesty and reliability. Landlords trusted us to present their properties with care, and tenants trusted us to show only listings that genuinely met high standards.
Over the past eight years, we have expanded our coverage to include not just Gatineau but also select neighbourhoods in Ottawa and the surrounding Outaouais region. Our team has grown from three founding members to a dedicated staff of fourteen, yet our philosophy remains the same: every client deserves a living space that feels extraordinary, and finding it should be an enjoyable experience rather than a stressful one.
